I am so excited about this mega car boot sale that is happening next weekend on the 6th May at Brewer Street Car Park in London’s West End. Some of the biggest names in fashion are coming together to share their cast off's with you. You can peruse the likes of Alice Temperley, Charlotte Olympia and Bay Garnett’s cast off’s and can even pick up a bargain from Gwyneth Paltrow’s stylist Elizabeth Saltzman’s boot - AMAZING. I have it on good authority that there will be huge bargains at a steal, designer amazingness and some Stella McCartney wonders in the mix too. After shopping up a storm, have your make up done by one of Charlotte Tilbury’s team, you might just need it after all that rummaging.
My tip tip for shopping at jumble and boot sales is make sure you leave enough time, get there early and don’t have any pre conceptions of what you want to find. A list of must haves is disastrous and will only aid to you leaving empty handed. Go with the flow and be open minded. You might find something you love and think you have no need for it now but the time always comes when you will wear it. Don’t get overwhelmed and spend time properly looking. When you do find that item of your dreams buy it then and there. Fashion jumble waits for no one. You will regret if you don’t! Oh and don’t shop on an empty stomach, it never helps, you need all the power you possess to get that bargain of a life time.
